Following a spate of internship requests, we decided to set up our own internship program to help people new to the music industry to figure out what their interests are, and to give them an opportunity to start gaining useful experience and contacts. The program involves our interns working as a team to set up their own record label imprint, scouting an artist, and releasing a single.
We are delighted to announce that, this coming year, our internship project has received support from Youth Music’s Incubator Fund, thanks to funding from players of People’s Postcode Lottery. In 2021, we will support and fund a group of 6 interns through the process of forming their own label and releasing a single, with the program delivery being entirely online. Details of the program are as follows:

-
Work with your colleagues to develop a label brand, scout an artist and release a track
-
Weekly Zoom sessions with Kaleidoscope as we guide you through the process
-
Weekly webinars with a panel of industry experts covering a vast range of topics, from publishing to promotion.

-
We will also invite a number of unsuccessful applicants to 'audit' the programme - sitting in on our weekly webinars, and viewing online content
